									<p>In 2022, the arrival of technologies with the ability to create images through a simple text prompt was a shocking leap into displaying originality and aesthetic sensibility. Together with several flourishing text transformers, AI has entered a new field of assisting, challenging, enhancing, or perhaps something fourth in relation to human creativity.<br> <br> We invite to a one-day seminar on AI and creativity featuring Ted Underwood, University of Illinois, as keynote on AI and Creativity. The programme is built around interest groups in text, image and 1-2 groups tbd.<br> <br> Ted Underwood is a Professor in the School of Information Sciences at the University of Illinois and also holds an appointment with the Department of English. Working at the intersection of literary studies and information science, he has in recent years studied the creative potential of large language models and text-to-image models.<br> <br> Registration is free for employees at Aarhus University.
