Human Futures and Kunsthal Aarhus invites you to the seminar: “Come Closer? Aesthetics and Ethics of Machine Intimacy”, which will be in relation to artist Sidsel Meineche Hansen’s exhibition End-user. Keynote speaker is researcher Aimee van Wynsberghe from Technische Universiteit Delft. Wynsberghe is both an advisor for The European Commission and founder of Foundation for Responsible Robotics. She will begin the seminar by giving a talk entitled “The Ethics of Sex Robots”. This will be followed by talks from Lasse Blond and Jacob Wamberg, researchers at Aarhus University. Blond will give a talk on designing social robots for intimacy (in the context of health care) while Wamberg will focus on art and robots.
